Johns Honors Girl Scouts Heading to Nation’s Capital

Assemblyman Mark Johns recently joined community members in a send-off for Fairport Girl Scouts Junior Troop 60325 as they headed to Washington, DC.

The nine scouts and three leaders were honored by Johns with a Legislative Resolution which will be read in to state record. The Resolution honors the girls for their opportunity to meet First Lady Michelle Obama and take part in the White House’s 4th annual Kitchen Garden Spring Planting.

The leaders of Troop 60325 are: Kim Provenzo, Jenni Burnham and Joi McMurty. The junior scouts are: Emily Burnham, Megan McMurty, Lindsey Sharman, Claire Provenzo, Emma VonDerLinn, Gia Muto, Dori Rizzo, Madison Voelcker and Emily Rhine.
